Muzeum Ziemi Leżajskiej

Muzeum Ziemi Leżajskiej to regionalna instytucja kultury z siedzibą w XVIII-wiecznym Dworze Starościńskim, obejmująca kilka obiektów w Leżajsku. W 2004 roku, na wniosek starostwa leżajskiego pod kierownictwem Zbigniewa Rynasiewicza, zespół Dworu został przejęty od miasta z zamiarem utworzenia muzeum. Dnia 2 lutego 2005 roku złożono projekt w Ministerstwie Gospodarki w ramach Zintegrowanego Programu Operacyjnego Rozwoju Regionalnego, dotyczący rewitalizacji Dworu oraz murów Klasztoru OO. Bernardynów. W efekcie odnowiono dziewięć zabytkowych budynków o powierzchni 2029,50 m².

Prace remontowe w Dworze rozpoczęły się w marcu 2006 roku, a ich zakończenie miało miejsce 30 listopada 2007 roku. W tym czasie przygotowano koncepcję muzeum, podkreślającą wielokulturowość regionu. Muzeum Ziemi Leżajskiej zostało formalnie powołane 1 stycznia 2008 roku. Oferuje różnorodne wystawy, wykłady, seminaria oraz lekcje muzealne dla dzieci, w tym warsztaty ceramiczne. Turyści mogą zwiedzać także podziemia Dworu Starościńskiego.
